Our Story

Forever Indie was created by Susheela Daniel, who left her life in Finland to dedicate herself to street animals and rescue in India.

It all started with a simple idea: to create something to wear that has a deeper meaning, but also looks and feels good. Something you can wear because it says something about who you are and what you believe in.

The name Forever Indie comes from India’s Indie dogs, who have been at the heart of this journey. But it doesn’t stop with dogs. It’s for the cats, dogs and every animal we choose to care about, whether they live beside us or on the streets.

Forever Indie is for people who believe in a more compassionate world for animals. The ones who see their pets as family, not possessions. The ones who adopt, rescue, feed street animals, foster, protect, speak up, or simply can’t walk past an animal in need.

Every purchase helps support the work Susheela and her team do for street animals, from daily care and feeding to medical treatment and rescue.
